Launched in November 2008, Jobshado is an interactive portfolio networking tool for students and industry professionals. Users are able to develop and control an interactive portfolio, network with other students and professionals aswell as seek out career and employment opportunities. The company is in the process of expanding and developing features and tools that will enhance the user experience.

Jobshado promises to continue corresponding to its founding principles, embracing the iterative process to arrive at tools that are clean and easy to use. It is our mission to initially provide tools that are absolutely essential then consistently build on top of them to create an experience that is comfortable and organic for the user.

The Rails framework was used as a foundation for the Jobshado architecture, situated on top of a MySQL backend installation. We embraced these technologies as considerably standard to industry and we think they adequately serve our purpose in terms of the current scope of the Jobshado project.

With Jobshado being home to a diverse community, privacy and protection of ones personal information has to be absolutely paramount. Jobshado uses an industrial strength gateway to protect personal user profiles, which is at the peak of industry standard. Jobshado will continue to do what's necessary to protect you and the rest of this community.
